Protest – February 2024 – ISSUE #82
In the new ‘Protest’ issue of Outdoor Swimmer we ask ‘How can you be a better swimmer?’ Many swimmers pick litter at their swim spots and try to do their bit to leave where they swim better than they found it. But some swimmers take their fight further to campaign for the environment, make access to the water better, improve water quality and protect wildlife. But fighting for our right to swim doesn’t just stop there.
From individual swimmers campaigning for disability access, to eco-conscious companies trying to bring about industry change, the fight for a better swimming world is being fought on many fronts.
Whatever kind of campaigner you may or might be, we hope this issue inspires you to think differently about how, where and what you do while swimming!
Plus all the regulars, including health news, outdoor swimming news, training, swim locations, technique, travel, event listings, gear news and kit reviews.
